MARRIAGE
Marriage is honorable, however one should be knowledgeable about the tradition he or she is following, as not to do things in ignorance. Most of the marriage ceremony in America is in honor of Juno, the Roman goddess of procreation. The goddess of which the month of June is named after. That is the most popular month for marriages. The animal sacred to Juno are peacocks. That is the reason for the train on wedding dresses, symbolic of a peacock. Juno is said to be fond of flowers. So when the bride throws her bouquet, whoever catches it is suppose to be the next to marry and procreate. The white color of the wedding dress as most people already know, is suppose to be virginal. This is in honor to the goddess diana, the moon goddess who is the protectress of virgins as well as of wild animals, her color is white. Since she is in conflict with Aphrodite or Venus, this makes her in conflict with sexuality. So she have to be sweeten and appease with honey. Thus the honey moon. Are they thoughts of doubt , fear, sickness, disease and poverty? or are they thoughts of faith, courage, peace, health and prosperity? If not the latter, then change your thoughts.
